Xinjiang 2009

Three years ago, Shinay and I and a couple of friends took a spur-of-the-moment train trip through Xinjiang. I've been wanting to write about that trip ever since- but just never have had the time to put it all together. Over the next couple of months I hope to share some snapshots and stories from that time.

This was our route, in red.

If

If you can keep your head when all about you

Are losing theirs and blaming it on you;

If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you,
