Working late on another funding proposal.
On our trip to Chengdu a few weeks back, we visited a beautiful tea plantation a couple of hours outside of town. The van we were traveling in was stuck in a particularly muddy section of the farm road, providing a chance to linger and a welcome respite from the long hours in the vehicle punctuated by 5 minute photo-ops in a rapid succession of visits to various local scenic spots. I enjoyed taking the time to explore the tea fields and out-buildings of the farm, and to meet these two lovely oranges.
